Criminal Justice Organization of Hampden County

The Criminal Justice Organization of Hampden County (CJOHC) is dedicated to improving the lives of those involved in the criminal justice system, as well as enhancing the professional development of those working in the field. Our mission is to develop, implement, and operate programs focused on educational, counseling, and vocational services, as well as prevention and treatment for sexual and substance abuse. We also strive to support the families of justice-involved individuals and enhance community outreach efforts. Through our initiatives, we aim to expand services that improve both individual outcomes for justice-involved populations and the professional lives of criminal justice workers.

We actively seek and manage grants and funding to support our programs and work with the public and professionals to provide educational and research-based programming to advance effective practices within the criminal justice field. CJOHC is committed to carrying out its mission through programs that foster rehabilitation, healing, and community well-being.

CJOHC's comprehensive approach aims to build stronger individuals, families, and communities by addressing the complex needs of the criminal justice population and their families. Through education, counseling, and targeted support programs, we are working toward a more rehabilitative and compassionate criminal justice system.
